In 2012, CommonBoston sent out a call for artists for a new public art competition, Public Art/Public Space. In collaboration with Rosie Weinberg and Kathi Barr, we were selected to participate. Fifteen cast concrete “Hi’s” were fabricated and installed throughout Boston’s South End as a way to welcome people and demarcate the neighborhood boundary.
